  • 1 1/4 cup(s) packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup(s) softened margarine
  • 1/3 cup(s) shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup(s) quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cup(s) whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) pure semi-sweet chocolate chips

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Directions

In large bowl, beat sugar, margarine and shortening until well mixed. Stir stir in eggs and mix well.

Stir in remaining ingredients and blend well.

Drop cookie dough by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on baking sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.

Remove from baking sheet and place on cooking rack.
