Crockpot Beef Stew

Recipe

  • 1 lb. stewing beef, cut into bite-size chunks
  • 1 teaspoon(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1 - 284l/10oz. tin tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup(s) beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup(s) peeled, cubed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup(s) thinly sliced carrots
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper

Crockpot Beef Stew Directions

Place beef in crockpot and toss with flour until the beef is fully coated. Add tomato soup, beef broth, onion, potatoes, carrots, salt and pepper.  

Cover and cook on low setting for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.  

Remove lid for 1/2 hour, which will allow the stew to thicken.  

Serve with fresh Italian or French bread.
