This appetizer is so easy and quite the party favourite! For a hotter version, substitute ¼ cup diced hot banana pepper for the grainy mustard.
For 8 Serving(s)
On a floured surface, roll out a ½ package of thawed but cool puffed pastry dough into a 20"x8" rectangle. Brush with melted butter and then spread with mustard.
Cover with shredded cheddar. Roll each short end to the centre so that there are two rolls side-by-side. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for one hour.
Using a sharp knife, cut into ¾ inch slices and place cut-side down, onto greased baking sheet.
Bake in 400°F oven for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden. Cool slightly and serve.
