  • 1 1/2 lbs. fresh (not frozen) lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon(s) crushed soda crackers or bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt

Hamburger Patties Directions

Break apart ground beef with two knives. Blend in the egg, bread crumbs and worcestershire sauce, and mix well.  

Mix together garlic powder, onion powder and salt, and add this to the meat mixture and blend well.

Cover a large cookie sheet with wax paper. Make 6 to 8 meatballs with the mixture. Form each into a round patty and place each on cookie sheet.

Pop cookie sheet into the freezer for 1-2 hours, until the patties are stiff.  

Remove from freezer, separate by cutting waxpaper around the patties, and stack them. Cook immediately, or vacuum-pack and place them in the freezer for later use, within 3 months. (label the package) 

COOKING - Place on grill of barbecaue which has been heated to 400 degrees. Cook at least 10 minutes per side. Meat should be cooked until its well done. Make sure juice runs clear.
