  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup(s) Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup(s) rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 cup(s) diced celery
  • 1/2 cup(s) diced green pepper

Meat Loaf Directions

In a large mixing bowl, break apart ground beef with a fork. Add eggs, ketchup and worcestershire sauce, mixing after each addition. 

In a medium mixing bowl, mix together rolled oats, dry mustard, onion soup mix, salt and pepper. Add with celery and green pepper to the beef mixture. Mix well.

Transfer to a loaf pan. Bake in 375°F oven for about 1 hour. Check the loaf during this time, and if edges are already browned before the loaf centre, reduce heat to 300°F.
